After
graduating from college, O.L. Houston began a sales career
within the insurance industry. During an annual sales
meeting that involved seminars by noted psychologists, he
became fascinated by the role of temperaments in the human
decision making process. He began using temperament
selling during every presentation and close in the same
way a scientist uses a laboratory. As he refined his
approach to selling through temperaments he outsold his
peers during his first year and was named Rookie Agent of
the Year. During the proceeding years, he was named Agent
of the Year and ranked in the top ten nationally. O.L.’s
success moved with him into other industries, and with
over 20 years of selling excellence he has been ranked in
the top 10 nationally with each company he has
represented. His most recent and most outstanding sales
achievement was when he led an entire industry for years
in several critical statistical sales performance
categories. O.L.’s approach has been proven time and time
again within the insurance, fitness, and furniture
industries culminating with his most recent successful
tenure in the bedding industry with the nation’s largest
retailer. His practices and strategies became a staple for
corporate sales training as he witnessed how even the
lowest salesman could immediately improve their
performance by 15 to 25% and many over 50%. With a proven
